About
Newcastle Kings are a dynamic alternative rock band emerging from Grande Prairie, Alberta, with a sound that bridges the explosive energy of the '90s and early 2000s with a modern, introspective edge. Featuring Skylar Dayton (vocals, guitar), Colten Robert (drums), Nyall Savidant (bass), and Colin Munroe (lead guitar), the band creates powerful, emotionally charged music exploring themes of mental health, heartbreak, and resilience.
Known for their electrifying live performances, Newcastle has shared stages with iconic acts like Bif Naked, One Bad Son, The Steadies, Big Sugar, Honeymoon Suite, Sweet, Royal Tusk, and Theory of a Deadman. They’ve also headlined numerous shows across Western Canada, captivating audiences with their raw energy and passion.
